yeah i support any team scrambling feature. I know that I have been guilty of waiting to see who goes on what team, and as such i've been trying to hit the random door when both teams have even numbers. but...even that isnt a perfect method. besides, anything that means i dont have to click an extra button is welcome :P Bah Weep Granah Weep Ninny Bong

I tend to switch teams when I can but I also like gaming with certain people. I am a type A personality and like to be around similar people. So I can be guilty of this charge from time to time.

I know that it is fun to play with a team full of your friends or people you know or people who are in the top 20 with you, but its often not fun for the other team getting the steamroller. I would much rather have a challenging match, i feel guilty like im a bully if i get on one of those teams and would rather switch teams. From my own experience, its funner to grab one of those friends and switch teams, killing other friends is sooo much funner and makes me giggle more than killing a random person. Most of my frustration in this comes from watching people from the steamrolled team leave the server pissed off, its always funner with a full server imo.The most fun i had last night was being on a team with Daniel and getting kills on those i would consider friends or fun people to play with. A fight for those cap/kill points is soo much more satisfying than the easy points. I think if some forgot about the points for awhile and played for fun, the servers would be better off and would go back to being full 24/7, and the random Joe who stops by to play on the server may have fun also and become another regular or friend. I do have alot of peeps i would consider my friends on this server but when its not fun anymore its not fun, and often now playing on other servers with random people is much more fun. I was so sick of the stacks i quit playing on tempest primarily for 1.5 weeks. Just my 2 cents not sure it means much but maybe some of ya can see where us less than uber skilled players are coming from. I play for fun, and hope to continue to do so on Tempest. Sorry. I thought the plug-in was an independent thing. It's part of Beetlesmod.

The largest difference I see with "winning" teams and "losing" teams is the communication aspect. So with this in mind I'd say if FORCED to move to a team you are currently laying down an ass kicking to bring that communication with you. Let the team know what faults you saw when atacking them and offer suggestions.
Example #1 Focusing on key elements --->Hey guys Leon is WTFPWNing you you should throw a pyro out there to help keep the medics and/or sentries safe from his dagger.
Example #2 Focusing on Team mix ---> Hey guys I noticed that you had a lack of (insert class here) we might wanna fill that with a few peeps. Typicaly medics and engies are in demand.
Example #3 Focusing on Team tactics ---> Hey all I noticed you arent moving together and are getting picked apart one by one. Lets try to move together to cause more damage and punch holes in the defense.
That being said when moving to another team dont just bring your 1337 Sk$llz, bring what was working on the previous team. Hopefully in doing so we can build better players and a tighter bond in the community while attracting those first time or casual players back again.
Next time we start rolling a team and you all know the "WE" I'm talking to. I invite one or two of you to switch sides with me and challenge ourselves to turn the tide. It will develop yourself as a better player and help retain the population of targets, I mean people, on our servers. Hell, we might even make MORE friends.
Getting or giving an ass kicking sucks. I really like those long standing battles it shows that both teams #1 suck and need to develop skills OR #2 are both great and need to work together to develop new tactics.

I am just going to cut theis short and let you know I had a great time while here but am going to go find a comunity more suited for me. I may still swing into Temp 2 sometimes.

What are you talking about Ms.Frags, you are a leet player.
I agree with Warmachine's point in building a bigger community. These last few weeks have been depressing, seeing the Tempests empty except for the 2Fort server. I know its the holidays but I think generally the map rotation + lack of regulars on there has hurt our traffic. This is another topic altogether but I thought I'd bring up this point. It is more fun to play/kill people you know so hopefully we can change this.

I'm sure for right now the mp_scrambleteams command will be useful considering how often team stacking actually happens.
