I've been too busy to deal with this aspect of our community, but I want to include some tips to keep this thing alive.
What do people want in terms of strategy or how-to tips? I know we are a casual clan but I'm always interested in helping people become better players. I am most excited by discussing the finer points of TF2 strategy. That's me.
How about we do it like this: someone ask a question about anything strategy related and we offer relevant tips.
I'll start us off. I see Dragon play Spy a lot and he likes to improve his Spying. He's always asking other people for ways of improvement, which is something I admire. Well Dragon, as a guy who plays Spy a lot:
I used to suck as Spy. I'd go in, try to act very un-suspicious, and get blown up in 2 seconds.
Advice #1: Forget the acting. Ammo is cheap and you will get blown in the face just for looking at someone for too long. A better way is to not get into people's way, and stay out of sight. To do that, use your cloak and hide in nooks and cranies.
I think Spy-play is more like the games Splinter Cell or Hitman. In those stealth shooters, you always have to know where the guards are facing before making out with the intel or whatever. Advice #2: Always know where people are facing, and stay just behind them in their blindspot. One thing I like to do is when I'm following someone from behind, just as they're turning a corner, I'll turn with them. Sometimes when people turn corners, they'll accidently see you out of the corner of their eyes. But if you circle-strafe with them, i.e. move from looking to their side to looking at their back, you can stay out of their sight.
Paranoid enemies are always annoying for me. I used to play Spy exclusively and people would be looking out for me when they see my name on the scoreboard. This was working against me because the more people I stabbed, the more paranoid they became and the harder it was for me. One strategy to counter this is to be more selective with your stabbing. Walk past that tasty sniper who's just standing there, begging for your knife. This might save you from 3 snipers machine-pistoling you next time you're in that base. Instead, knife that heavy who's mowing down your whole team. Or sap that annoying sentry who's impeding your team's push.
Most important of all tho, I've developed a little maxim that applies in all situations of my Spying. Advice #3: Attack distracted targets. Only approach people who are under fire or busy doing 'something'. It can be anything that requires all of their attention: upgrading a sentry, waiting for a dispenser to heal them up. In that instant their attention is diverted, it's completely safe for you to go up to them and plant a knife into their back. But if it's a engineer waiting with his shotgun out, daring anyone to approach his sentry, he's got all his attention focused on anti-Spying. You don't want that.
That's why it's so easy to stab Snipers and Heavies. They are focused on something else all the time. It's hard to stab Medics because they're always looking out for something. They've got nothing else to do. It's hard to stab someone on a hypothetical 1 v 1 game, because once they know you're a Spy, they'll always be looking for you.
Hence, wait for that medic-soldier combo to approach some resistance. Trail behind them for 1 minute. Once they've reached that part of the map and are busy firing at your team's heavy, kill them both. Easy as pie.
Attack distracted targets.

Yeah leon.. im sure it'll work out if we want to improve as certain classes.... and it'll help out everyone... by reading the tips ... i played spy too and the only thing i remind myself constantly ... is save yourself enough cloak in case you ever fail to stab someone or is attacked by a paranoid player... do not be afraid to stare your enemy in the face and CLOAK and RUN.. and HIDE ! ... also.. a question for spies : when your under cloak and switch disguises .. does it show up to everyone around you ? if not.. i find it a very good tactic :O on continuing the guide... im working on some general class vs class tips ... but i also have an idea floating around that involves creating a video of not only how to play the character but to play the map ... like .. where to put the sentry gun? or where to snipe ? or different routes of infiltration (rocket jumping , double jumping , sticky jumping) i think it would be quite helpful to new players and those who are not as familiar as some to certain maps like customs :O

Medic advice: I could write a long ass thing but I prefer consiseness. Stay out of line of sight if possible when healing. Dont be afraid to use your heal target as a meat shield and then run away. General advice: Don't be a dick. Spy advice: When you pick your disguise if you plan to de-stealth in front of an enemy it helps if you are in the "spy" disguise because eveyone knows heavys cant cloak. And if you choose scout your runspeed isnt fast enough to be convincing.
