i would say he is among the worst...maybe along the lines of jimmy carter? well i guess jimmy carter didnt get the USA into much compared to bush...

obviously, most of the hatred for bush comes from the iraq war and the reasons why america went there. But really, if the intelligence was believed to be true...then the war would be justified, however, if that intelligence was really true or not,  we may not find out. Democrats and republicans alike supported the war, even Hillary Clinton did. Of course, there were people like Obama who didnt support it at the start.

did saddam fake having WMD's for his own protection against iran? becuase if recent reports are right, then saddam truly was just feigning WMD's....but i guess you cant rule them out.  But i have to agree, there should have been a more firm of reason to go to a full out war.

But you cant really say democrats are doing much better than republicans. The democratic house and senate keep passing pork bills and have an approval rating of like 23%. But then again, Bush vetoes anything they actually do. There is an urgent need for some bi-partisan cooperation.

Quit worrying about politics and put that aside...and do whats right for the american people.

Carter actually tried to get the hostages out of Iran back then. I remember it pretty well. It was constantly on the news. He even ran a covert op to get them out using a small band of people flown in with helicopters. But something happened, and the mission was scrapped. People believe it's why he wasn't re-elected. But also he had (I believe) Robert Redford campaigning for him the first time, and then not the second time. As soon as Reagan was elected, Iran free the hostages that day.

As far as the intel about the war in Iraq, consider the source: Cheney.

You're one of those people still holding out hope for WMDs?

We were attacked by terrorists, we launched a counter-offensive against the taliban in Afghanistan. Then, all of a sudden the attention shifts because now Saddam is a threat to the American people and he's got WMDs.

Cut to now. No WMDs were ever found. There was no threat to the American people and Osama Bin Laden is still out there.

Success!

But yeah, congress is a fucking joke. I remember when the biggest issue in congress was whether or not Pelosi could get a bigger fucking private jet to fly her entourage of like 90000 people around the country whenever she wanted.

Both Congress and Bush need to really come together and do whats right for the country because right now they'll just tearing it apart.

I hate America so in my book he is the greatest President ever because he has done more to destroy this country than anyone else in history.

Lol, one of the helicopters crashed and killed a bunch of guys. What I really love about that is people try to blame carter for the failed mission and the oil embargo. What the fuck could he have done? Carter gets a bad rep for having to deal with tough issues that he didn't make. In my book he was a fine president. I mean, he was a nuclear engineer for crying out loud! We need less businessmen in Washington, and more scientists.

As far as Bush goes, I am not going to jump on the "Bush is retarded" bandwagon. Bush is a terrible president and a poor public speaker. His poor reputation is only amplified because it's all current. Compared to presidents in the past, like Andrew Jackson, James Buchanan, Millard Filmore, Ulysses S Grant, Herbert Hoover, and Richard Nixon, Bush doesn't skip too far ahead of the trend.

So No LOL thanx. There are people on the other end of the pointy stick Americans so love to poke at other countries. Ours and theirs.

As for Bush being a bad Pres. A pres is nothing but a figurehead with limited power. An individual to pass blame when shit goes wrong or take the credit when all is well. One person can't know whats going on everwhere so advisors put any face they want on any situation the pres will decide on. No matter what election is running and who is running in it one man ALWAYS wins. George Washington. So when this election is over take out you wallet and give him a congratulation shake.

I dont hate americans but sometimes we cant see the nose in front of our face sometimes. We have a Great thing going here called being Free. The limit of the freedom is debateable but compared to the majority of the world we have it well here.

If you havnt been to another country where they kill you for saying anything that might undermind the current regime then I hope you dont mind If I ignore you opinion. I've seen kids starving on the streets in other countries. Heads hands and feet chopped off in other countries.

So go stand infront of the whitehouse and scream "Bush is an Asshole" and see what reaction you get. Not much im sure.

Now go stand infront of your work tommorow and scream "My boss is and Asshole"and see what reaction you get.

Bush was marked out a long time ago by corporate interests as their man.  The real decision makers in this country aren't ever going to known by us because it isn't in their interest.  Bush is just the mediocre, easily manipulated son of a family that is in hock up to their eyeballs to the military-industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us against.  We and our children and our children's children will be paying for the sins of this administration's actions for generations.  Bush has done what he was told to do. A better question for the poll would be:  "Bush -- best or worst puppet ever?".

Bush has been the man largely responsible for kick starting/accelerating (depending on your viewpoint) America's decline as the single world superpower. which is a good thing for everyone else but America really. in time the world will look back on him and cringe.
yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.
