So No LOL thanx. There are people on the other end of the pointy stick Americans so love to poke at other countries. Ours and theirs.
As for Bush being a bad Pres. A pres is nothing but a figurehead with limited power. An individual to pass blame when shit goes wrong or take the credit when all is well. One person can't know whats going on everwhere so advisors put any face they want on any situation the pres will decide on. No matter what election is running and who is running in it one man ALWAYS wins. George Washington. So when this election is over take out you wallet and give him a congratulation shake.
I dont hate americans but sometimes we cant see the nose in front of our face sometimes. We have a Great thing going here called being Free. The limit of the freedom is debateable but compared to the majority of the world we have it well here.
If you havnt been to another country where they kill you for saying anything that might undermind the current regime then I hope you dont mind If I ignore you opinion. I've seen kids starving on the streets in other countries. Heads hands and feet chopped off in other countries.
So go stand infront of the whitehouse and scream "Bush is an Asshole" and see what reaction you get. Not much im sure.
Now go stand infront of your work tommorow and scream "My boss is and Asshole"and see what reaction you get.
Who runs america?
I don't get what you're arguing with this. Is this whole screed directed at me?
To answer your last question; America, like every other state, is run by every flaw of humanity.

State and government are synonymous.
And no, the 50 states are not independent.

I voted no. History will decide in time how bad bush was. IMHO Carter was a far bigger America hating piece of mule crap. {pDs}BelligerentPimp wrote: No using the word "fucktard" unless you are refering to TonyRWC or Youngripark.j2. WDF? wrote:go fuck yourself hanukkah style.

Carter didn't run the national debt to 7 trillion more dollars, he tried to get the hostages out of Iran, and didn't start a lame ass war, nor did he try to take away our rights and impose a stupid wire tapping law and other such personal violation laws upon us. Maybe you're just too young to remember? I dunno... If you support John McCain and/or George W. Bush, please click here.âI would like to say to Milton and Anna: Regarding the Great Depression. I remember. Carter was a president 500 years before his time. He believed there was good in all people and that Americans were expecting too much. Remember gas lines, 19% interest rates, stagflation, energy crisis, his famous "Malaise" speech, Iranian's taking American hostages, Russia thumbing there noses at us. He also had his very good moments, his best probably the Israel Egypt peace treaty.
I think Carter was a thoughtful, intelligent man that unfortunately became a US president. Maybe 500 to 1000 years from now, Jimmy Carter would have made a good US President. But at the time he became president, he actually could have proven to be one of the most destructive to the U.S. if he served for another 4 years. Soviet expansion(for those of you too young to remember, we really could have blown each other off the face of the planet), Islamic extremism, OPEC power plays. etc.

Well said. Except I don't think he would have been the most destructive if given another four years. I think, as you said, he was intelligent and thoughtful, and so would have stopped doing whatever he was doing if it came to destruction. He was remembered at times to have a good foreign policy.
And Russia is always thumbing their nose at us.

Dude I'm probably your age if not older. Two words Iran and Nicaragua. Before Carter and the Iranian Islamic revolution, which he alowed to happen by turning his back to the Shah who was a very pro American guy, there was very little Islamic fundumentalism. And those who existed were held in check by people like the shah and Sadat in egypt. Along came Carter and basically fucked up the middle east (which we are paying for now) and central America. Oil is 100 bux a barrel because of the chain of events that have taken place over the past 30 years which were triggered by this asshole.
look at some of his more recent speeches in Africa and in the middle east. The guys is full of hate for America. Please just go read some of his recent crap. {pDs}BelligerentPimp wrote: No using the word "fucktard" unless you are refering to TonyRWC or Youngripark.j2. WDF? wrote:go fuck yourself hanukkah style.

Let me get this straight? Carter ALLOWED the Iranian Revolution to happen? How would he have stopped this from happening? Increasing Big Mac exports? A Burger King on every corner? Building them a big fat stock exchange to that people could get trampled by the stampede to make an extra buck. GIving them a political system just like ours where we are sold a big bill of lies every four years and are left sitting and wondering why things never get better? Or hey we should have surged on in there and lined every street corner with American troops armed to the teeth. Of course while massive amounts of troops may make things more peaceful.. How the heck are we ever gonna get them out and not have things return to the way they were before they went it. Send em more Big Macs If they don't believe in our values of the all mighty buck than by George W. Bush they will believe in our guns. Why is it so hard for people to understand that not everybody in the world really wants to be just like us down deep inside? Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

Are you being serious Bitchmaker? The Iranian revolution happened because we didn't support the Shah enough?! One of the major factors in the rise of Iranian Islamist movements was the Shah was a total prick of a dictator and the Islamists provided an alternative. If we hadn't propped up the Shah then its very probable that the Iranian revolution would of been averted, or more likely would of been carried out predominately by communists (the reason for propping the Shah up in the first place). Setting all of that aside, if you want to talk about presidential fuckups, Reagan is the one who funded the Afghan mujaheddin and had the CIA train them in terror and insurgency tactics. The Taliban and al Qaeda would not exist today if it wasn't for Reagan's policy of funding and teaching a bunch of Islamic radicals in how to wage a war of terror against a superpower. I agree that Carter wasn't a very good President, but comparatively speaking he is one of the better ones of recent years. And WTF are you talking about him being anti-American? That's crazy talk man. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.
