Pick up a sport, a hobby, go on walks, read moar, re-enable the triviabot, put the trash out, put 80 bucks in a blender, add milk and mainline the result. All these things are better than WoW. Safety + Peace

I'm in teh same boat as Whut at the moment. WoW has been calling to me with its siren song for over a month now, and no other MMO has been able to sate me. ive gone through City of Heroes, Eve, and now Age of Conan is showing its limits...... please talk us out of it. and i already do alcohol shots and get exercise. we need long term solutions here.... sigh.....first all of my classmates, and now clanmates are talking about WoW again....you guys are making it hard to refuse. and i know that now, i want to start fresh, start a new character. but i also know that i have every single starting area memorized, and that nothing in that game feels new or fresh....so i know i'd jsut be settign myself up for disappointment. yet the call remains..... i dunno..is it kind of inevitable? if we got a pds guild going i might be swayed to show up. that is if more people go into it than the 4 of us that went back into EVE. I might go. My WoW account is sitting there gathering dust. I stopped playing earlier this year when I refounded my old guild that fell apart when I left it in someone's hands (DRAMA!), and for some reason reforming it gave me a HUGE sense of closure and I lost all remaining urge to play. Which actually kind of sucked because there were some things I *wanted* to accomplish. That said... I'm not sure what it'll be like playing again since that. It might take... it might not. I was also an avid RPer which I imagine a PDS guild wouldn't be, so I might feel a bit out of my comfort zone. At the very least I'll be annoyed with having to redo my whole fucking UI again. Why's it so god damn hard for Blizzard to make updates that are backwards compatible with previous APIs UI mods use? Honestly...

May I suggest a similar alternative? You can watch nickelodeon for 4 hours, type "the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog" 500 times, and bash your head against the wall for a bit and it doesn't cost you 30 bucks a month!

I get the urge to renew my WoW Account every month or so.. I just can't afford it. If you have the spare cash, why not? I've got two characters, a 32 UD Mage on Hakkar and a 28 Gnome Rogue on ... soething or other. The problem with me is that I get bored WAY too easy, and distracted WAY too easy... so I never got around to grinding. Oh, and I prefer to have a fucking life.
