James.. I got bored of WoW.. ME. that enough for you? Formally known as MrT The film "Brokeback Mountain" was originally pitched as an off-beat romance starring MrT and WhutDuFuk. The sole reason the two legends declined the starring roles is because if MrT and WhutDuFuk were to kiss, there would be new meaning to the word homosexual...it would mean "obligation".

Don't fucking do it, man.
WoW is for the following people:
1. Ppl who dont have jobs.
2. ppl who are still students.
3. ppl who still live with thier parents. (any age applies here)
4. Mostly a consequence of the 3 listed above...but those who are not attractive to women.
Let me sum up WoW. (yeah i did play on sargeras for two years, im not above any of the insults...)
You run around, trying to get a group of friends together to do something = 1 hours sittting around (2-2.5 if raid group)...Then you spend 1 additional hour getting ready for whatever you wanted to do (travel time, regs, repairing, somebody fucking forgot x or y). Then you get there and spend 1 hour deciding how its gonna happen. then you spend 1 hour killing mobs that you have done so often that its automatic, and basically requires no thought besides when to push button X. Then you wipe. Then you spend 1 hour trying to get back to where you wiped. then you either succeed or don't off the wipe.....
Well i did the math one day and i figured i had to invest 5 hours at least to have 1 hour...maybe...of fun. And you can't just "jump out to do somethign" no you are fucking stuck in your chair. If you have that kinda time....go play WoW. Quote:

I've got experience there if Whut doesn't want to be responsible for it. I ran an RP guild for over a year and was an officer in an non-RP guild for about that long, too. I also helped 3 guilds and a player organization with websites. Too bad guild names can't be changed and my guild was on an RP server... else we could have used that which already has hundreds of gold invested in guild bank slots. Not to mention then I'd have existing high-level characters to power level all you monkeys... you could always just go back in, gank all teh gold/items, then transfer servers :P we all could do server transfers if we wanted to, then i bet a few of us would have our high-levels :P I might do that with my Horde hunter, but I want my Alliance warrior to stay on the server he's on should I ever want to play him again. Many many ties to other characters and organizations that I wouldn't want to give up.

Gouge out your eyes, cut off your hands, commit ritual seppuku with a rusty sword; but for the love of god, do not play WoW. You'll be way ahead in the game of life with any of the former actions. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Smells like ... victory"

I played WoW for about 2 years. I had a great time and made some great friends. The guild I was in fell apart because our teenager leadership had a lot to learn. I quit because I was doing end game raiding and there was no other guild that raided at the time I could. I have to say, I am happy that I quit. If you want to buy my max level healadin with full tier 4 and some tier 5 armor, couple k in gold, and multiple epic flying mounts and tons of mats, give me a call. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

It depends in what capacity you play it. If you want to commit to end-game raiding then yeah... having a life makes it difficult. I always despised that component of the game. If you want to fight then stop leveling at the top of some Battlegrounds bracket and just PvP battle. That's quite similar to logging onto a Tempest server to play. You can likewise make friends, etc., doing it. I know. I did. If you want it can simply be a glorified chat room with animated avatars of Night Elves doing sexy dances. Hey. I'm not above being amused by that. Just don't go to Goldshire. Way too emo. Fact is you can get as little or as much as you want out of it, or really any MMO. I was really in it for the social aspect. I had a guild, I had friends, I was a general in a player-run RP-PvP defense organization, I founded a guild coalition, and even served as a judge in a role-play trial. For me it was a hobby; not just a game. If I went back now it'd probably just be a game again. Plus we're all sitting in a gaming clan right now. Who are any of us to 'dis addictions to gaming?

Here's the thing about said girlfriend. She really enjoys watching games I play. Computer is hooked to the mega tv, so she sits next to me and watches the games I play. She hates a few of em, like Sins of a solar empire and Medieval... as well as anything FPS related, but she really likes watching Empire at War and WoW. I can't explain how or why.
