Crossing borders is one thing but threatening and taking civilian lives is another. The U.S. has done the latter and that is unacceptable.

Fucking anti-American pacifist. This nation was born to kill, love it or leave it!

I never found borders to be particularly compelling. They're just lines on a map, they cause as many problems as they solve. In the case of bin Laden and crew, Obama's position is that if we have actionable intel that we can lob some missiles up his ass we'll invite the Pakistani's to help us out and if they don't we'll go ahead regardless. I agree it is a fundamental violation of sovereignty, but frankly if they're not willing to help us kill bin Laden then fuck 'em (not that I blame them, to them we're the boy who cried wolf and then shot the neighbors mangy dog). I generally think that things like crimes against humanity transcend lines on a map, it's polite to ask permission first but it's a lot easier to ask for forgiveness after.

Easier, perhaps, and you might even be forgiven by the government you offended - but not necessarily by its people. And much of this War on Terror is thanks to us doing what governments said was okay but the people didn't like.

And the problem with us "acting on intelligence"... well... Iraq, anyone? They shouldn't give two shits about what our "intelligence" says.
