Years from now when your children and grandchildren ask where you were when Obama was elected president, you can tell them you were watching TV and posting right here.

I didn't vote for him, but he'll have my respect and loyalty as an American citizen.

Congrats, Obama -- Now, as you've promised, it's time help us change this country for the better.

Well, you picked him, but then again I forgot you don't believe in self responsibility.  Remember, he's -your- president now. :)  Feels good to be able to say that now.

First, congratulations to Obama.

Second, whether you like it or not, now the work begins to tear him down and defeat him in four years.  Isn't politics fun.

I can't wait for Obama's Inaugural Address. It's going to be some FDR-level goodness.

I like The Who..

Plus it fits so well with the current situation
"Smile and grin at the change all around"
And in the end the new boss is the same as the old boss, and we all know that these next four years are just going to be the same bullshit. Same big government, same war, same shitty economy.

If I had any white guilt for my ancestors in South Carolina, I can say I no longer have it.  It's a nice feeling.

Ugh, the only thing I will get sick of is him always being referred to as "The first black president" Obama.  So much for the "color doesn't matter" they have been telling us all to believe.  The same people that scream color doesn't matter will be the people constantly reminding us of his skin color.

I'm 28 and this is the first time the candidate I selected has won. In the Primaries and in the presidential race.
Of course, living in Arizona, my vote didn't really count for squat in the final race. Thank you, Electoral College, for making my vote mean nothing. Long live democracy!
