Why did all of this happen? Gates himself said it best, I think: " Because I'm a black man in America [[and therefore owing to the past history of racial discrimination and inequality, everyone else who shares my skin color will forever be underprivileged, underrepresented, and abused by anyone with the opposite skin color out of a secret, insidious racial prejudice that is entirely unlike my attitude of building a whole career on the express promotion, distinction and victim-mindset-induction of my own race, and completely in spite of the fact that I am a highly articulate and educated professor at the most prestigious university in a nation that just elected a president of the same ethnicity]]!" Sometimes, it's the things they don't say that matter most. On some level you hold the keys to your own cell, I suppose. Perception is reality for the individual, I don't expect he will ever contribute much to actually solving racial challenges when he refuses to believe that itcan be helped.

Uncle Tom, what a fucking awesome term that is. Let's promote tribalism and notions of "blackness" and "whiteness". For those not in the loop, all blacks wear grills, tote gats, and tawk like dis. And they NEVER have white collar jobs nor are they ever right-wing.

It's weird having a president who isnt a complete and total dickhole. Obama is having Gates (with whom he has an established friendship) and the police officer who arrested him (who actually gets that racial profiling by police is a problem) over to his place for a beer. This was an unfortunate set of circumstances...that's it. It just so happened it happened to a race-baiter like Gates. Gates has made a career on portraying racism in America and this was his perfect opportunity to practice what he preached. This is the same police officer who once gave mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to Reggie Lewis as he was dying on the court. While I do think race played a factor in why the call was initally placed (although in the 911 tapes, it was never mentioned that the suspect was black), I do not think race played any part in the arrest except on the part of Gates screaming racism toward the police officer. Now Messiah Obama, as the President of the United States, wants to have a beer with both of them. How fucking cute! Lets all sit around and circle jerk on the Pizza Hut pizza and the one who cums first has to eat it. This is the same asshole who publicly came out and called the officer and the entire department stupid for how he handled the situation. Seriously? Really? And now that ALL THE FACTS are coming out, he wants to play the part of the great negotiator. Well, excuse me if I don't give two shits.
