I know you know that I'm not just puffing my chest out asking to be put above everyone else on a pedestal, but saying hey man for a few years I went above and beyond for this site and where's my love in your final goodbye? Remember I was by myself writing content for the site forever, covering events by myself working 20 hour days for you for a week straight, writing 30 pages of coverage on said events, writing articles that got us so many hits that the site crashed on multiple occasions and was featured on hundreds of other sites. I hired the entire news team, and when they fucking failed or flaked I did it again, until one guy finally stuck after all these years to continue and take over after I had to stop doing it. I had thousands of WDF business cards printed because I believed in this place and put my heart and soul into everything I did for it. I in no way am trying to detract from anyone else that you named, they all deserve it, but you seriously left out a few important people from the early days that helped get this shit off the ground, and don't start busting out the hyperbole saying oh man do I have to mention all the hundreds of people on the site? I mean it honestly feels like somebody that just went to a film festival and walks out at the end saying, I saw that movie last so I liked it the most. You mentioned a bunch of people that were the first on your mind as they were the last to do anything for you. After all that I've done for this place, as well as put up with from you over the years(you know what I'm talking about) I think it's owed. My boss and I both even gave you and this site a shout-out on the show. I'm not a whiny little shit that wants a pat on the back every time you give someone else kudos, but if you are saying your final goodbyes you best remember who needs/deserves to be remembered even if just a little bit. If I'm wrong for feeling that way then so be it, but I don't think I am considering. Oh and BP, you can talk shit about me and say stupid shit all you want, but stay on topic and don't bring in outside shit just to stir up trouble or you just might have to be put in your place. That's enough. .... Whut, I know that I am an ex-pDs member but for some reason this community has never lost its place with me. I will say that my reasons for leaving years ago never had anything to do with you or the community or the way you run your servers. There are some small things we didn't see eye-to-eye about in server philosophy and that's alright. Why? Because you still did a fucking amazing job at running it and continued to surprise me with your abilities as a leader. This place had worked its way to become a part of me and a wonderful chapter of my life. This is truthfully thee greatest place I have ever had the pleasure of spending my free time over. This place had and always will bring out some of the craziest and wackiest people of them all. Sure this place has had its major downs but in the end it has always ended up victorious. For such a young guy to run a place like this for 10 years I can safely say it is an insanely amazing achievement. This gamer group not only held out ingame but thanks to James and Penguin Lan this place has been terrific and dare I say, extremely unique. Ive been through many groups over my gaming years and this place has and always will have been the best of them all. Even if this place doesn't host any servers we can still be a strong and growing group of gamers.... and more. I for one will refuse to hang up my tag just so the name goes on.
