Thanks for the good times James, yours was my favorite place online. Good people, good games, good memories... I'm, sorry to see it go.

I remember the night PDS started. Half of [Mr.] defected and came over. I created a cheesy phpBB board (but way better colors then Mr...they are still here!!!) and there was a huge (but friendly) schizm between to the two clans....

Things went on. The communities of Mr, pDs and WCS played nicely. Many people came together to help this community grow because James was a whinny little bitch that needed the help. (love you!) But eventually and rather fast he took it all under his own wings.

New faces came, old ones left only to pop up at random times. But Buddylee said it that anyone could come back and find core people they remember to play with no matter how long we were gone. POM said it too that few understood how much Whut put into this community. There were conflicts, slights made, joke not taken as jokes, things said there were never said but all in all a community of friends was developed. How else can you explain many of us traveling hundreds of not thousands of miles to visit on another. Whether it was [Mr.]'s HatLAN, POMs LAN, RatLAN or PenguinLAN...we traveled.

Now we all know how much Whut sucks...that goes without saying. We've learned all too much about him (I did search for his naked ass on /b/ but found nothing!) and we know this was hard for him. But I think (know) its for real.

To all friends, past and present...I raise a glass to you.

I never post. This is my first posing here. You guys may know me or may not (which I think it is).

About 5 years ago. I entered online game first time with Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. It excited me very much as my new experience.
Yeah.... even this place is not my first "adventure". But here is 1 big part of it. I remember the first time I joined The Crypt which was running Warpath map. Back then, I'm off from 2nd main server because it is empty. My first conversation with {pDs} is with {pDs} mmk about his mic problems. I said like "It doesn't matter if your mic works" and he reproached me.

Enough........

Good luck Whut. I was very fun back then. That days is still in my heart of heart together with my experience on another main server. I remember the day I tried so hard to go #1 in HLstatsX, the days I shout "Go get Ball!!!!!!!!", the days I have problems with shit computer (now, still), the days I sit there wating to be placed in full-sever, the days I have extreme funs with those players and the days etc..

I ALWAYS read this site, the forum and the comic. But I just haven't register. It is very incredible and glad game community like this has active-live for ten years. I couldn't imagine how hard you had tried and fought throught back then until now. Nowadays, I don't play just because my computer is shit. I understand what is your situation because something like that so-called part in my life, too.

Trust me, even I'm younger than you, no one blame you or hate you (except those who were banned for annoying server and forum) in this decision.

I'll never forget you, those days, those people and this community. Even this is my 3rd main server, even I randomly pick here, but I love here. This is one of my online home and I have got many friends here, too.

Well well well... I suddenly felt a need to come to the site and now i know why.. Cantrip called me back from the dead.. Damn Cantrip never could refuse him

well i was gonna come say alot of pretty words about how all good things come to an end.. something along the def leppard line of its better to burn out than fade away. Now i go and find out that there are some new computer nerds looking to replace the old computer nerds in running the joint. I think thats a good thing because this place still pulls on those of us who quit coming regularly years ago. It would be sad to think of it being gone but then again it will never go away all of us will carry a little piece of it whereever we go or whatever we do. I know for myself it was a place I wandered into one day and met some of the greatest people I have ever known. We had our ups and downs over the years but whatever direction it was going it was memorable. We had wars with nookie, seen the birth of cantrips film career, dealt with real life psychopaths, dealth with the pretend psycopaths the rest of us tried to pretend to be, played alot of good games and fought with each other alot, helped each other with parent issues, kid issues, love issues and the such. Hell i have seen recently that a couple of people are even marrying each other now. Its been like a regular days of our lives. (Good LUck on the marrying thing by the way)

Whut wondered why he went on after the gaming went on. Well its because he created alot more than just a gaming clan. He created a eharmony for computer nerds. ;) Seriously though it was always the people who kept people coming back and although he always "hated" everybody cept for me I think it was the people who kept Whut coming back as well. It was like his own cheers bar. A place to go where everybody knew his name. (course we all sort of liked that)

If my kindred sprit GAL ever wanders back this way I think he would agree with me on this. Things usually change in life. Then again they dont because you always carry the best things with you throughout the rest of your life. I think this place will be one of those best things.

Whut, You done good here my friend. Know it or not but you helped many people keeping this place going as long as you did.

For whoever runs it from this point going forward I wish you the best of luck. You have big shoes to feel. Also if you have not figured this out you will never truely get rid of him because he really does suck big time at leaving.
