In seriousness, good job guys. I had my doubts but the team came through. I just wish we hadn't had 3 people drop in that 4th round--would have easily been 4-0, I think, if we weren't playing that round with 7/8 people. I canz shoot thou wallz yo lol I wonder if we would of beat them they seemed pretty good to me it doesn't change the fact that most people think Jews are much like the Ferengi of Star Trek. I kind of wish they weren't down a man on that last round, though. They pushed us hard once they shuffled their players around and a ninth might have got them the win, but we'll never know. Of course.. that round wouldn't have happened had we won the one prior with their original lineup. =P

Huh. Looking at the other matches from last night... are we sure we scored it right? Of the 10 matches, only 3 seem to have done the best-of-3-rounds on a per-map basis. All the others only did one round per map. Everyone in Platinum and Steel Blue also only did one round per map. =/ Not that it matters now or would have mattered much then... just curious if we played a lot longer than we had to.

I'm pretty positive we scored it right. And the admins accepted our scores, so we are (almost) officially the Palladium Cup Champions! Yay! Thanks for the good run everyone. I know it was pretty crazy hehe, but I sure had fun (even if it was a little stressful at times). We'll probably get our medals sometime...they haven't said anything about that yet though. If you guys want to play another season some time, let me know and I can try and get things rolling again (they're currently planning a summer season which will be a shorter one than the last one). 200th post! Do we have any idea what prizes they are giving out? This information is impossible to find on the UGC website, and their forums don't offer much of anything, either. The only things I've heard for sure: - Everyone gets a participation medal - Only the top 3 brackets get a 1st place medal ... I'm doing my damnedest to reserve judgement until I know this stuff for sure...

Or keeping that information updated. Quote:Razor: As hard as one might try no one will ever be able to pull one over on Super Penguin. Backpack of Win

So I asked about it in their forums and it's not looking pretty. Some of the matches were fun, but I think you can count me out for any future seasons. Even as an alternate, since we saw how that played out- heh. P.S. Given how that thread has gone... how does it always end up me vs. the world? -_- P.P.S. And instead of responding to my idea about how they could provide medals to lower bracket winners at minimal cost, they locked the thread. Real mature group there. I'm likely deleting my "participation medal".

Oooh, wow Rik, you brought up some very nice arguments there! It's too bad it looks like we'll only be getting the participant medals. I really liked your idea for adding the 3 new ones to their assortment though. And thanks for getting to the bottom of this, I have had neither the time nor the patience to deal with UGC... Again, I hope you all had fun this season and I assumed there wouldn't be enough interest to play another season, which is what it seems like right now. If you guys ever want to try competitive again, let me know and I'd be more than happy to play/lead (if you need me to). props to rik for taking it to them, I think theyre sort of dicks about it but whatever. I had a good time for the most part, we proved we're all pretty good (we steamroll except when we have AFK's or not enough players, weird eh?) It'd be nice if they had their act a bit more together but for what it was, whatever and so what if we dont get badges. and fuck me if I dont post this cause it somehow came up in google search results

Oh Rik. I see what you were doing there and they were just being dumb. I do the same thing sometimes. I will never delete my badge. I will get a nametag/description and I will manually name mine "UGC Div 9 First Place". If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe. - Carl Sagan My Backpack

damnit rick, now I have to add more boobs to make virus correct. Fine. first we'll have a couple penguin boobs results (wow, some weird/random stuff shows up with that search results, I'd recommend you check it out)- damn, this one's huge, but fuck it, its worth it somehow appropriate why we'll never have a pDs convention and ladies now for virus we'll do a couple *biohazard boobs* (I tried virus boobs the other day and got jack shit)- damn, I dont recommend you guys try this one. Lots of weird crud pulled up and a lot of girls getting peed on. But I'm a trooper and dug up these gems for you and dont know how this came up in results, but there's enough ladies here (and frostbite) that I figured you'd like it (plus damn, I wish I had those abs) Now to finish this off, we'll take a look at *Arizona Boobs* cause I aint going to get anything SFW if I type in *Rikaelus boobs* your state is boring Rik but that's ok cause this also pulls up
