Well, we have had no real activity from the rats since we figured out that they were coming from the bush on the back fence. They're probably coming from the neighbor's somewhere, probably near someone's compost pile. Dumbasses.
Anyway, as you know we placed traps on the fence and that stopped them. We left them out to catch any strays. Here's the latest catch over last weekend. Notice how it got out of the trap. The spring probably came down on its head and when it fell to the ground it probably let go of him. Notice he didn't crawl very far before he bled to death.
And in war, there are always innocent casualties. But the damn birds crap on the deck, so fuck 'em too. This one had a leg and it looks like a wing caught until it flopped around died, dizzy for his efforts I'm sure.
