In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.

oops, this video was cropped. You might not be able to tell from this one, but this is an actual Toyota Tacoma commercial. Apparently they thought it would be wise to invest however many thousands of dollars they did to make a commercial that marketed a product to the wrong audience. Oh well, at least it was entertaining!

How is that marketed towards the wrong audience?  there are plenty of 'adults' with 'jobs' who play these stupid MMOs.

If by wrong audience you mean, over 25_ year olds who can only afford the monthly payments of 10 WOW accounts and not the payments of an automobile, yes then, I think you may be correct.

It wasnt meant to market fat, looser, minimum wage making, video game playing, lost in life- geeks.

But still a good commercial.

Believe me, if I started murdering people, there'd be none of you left.

Do you have credible statistics and evidence to back these wildly hopeful claims?

People buy trucks because they're useful for hauling things. Just about EVERYONE, at least in the Seattle area, who has a truck has one because they are a landscaper or carpenter or some other contractor. If you're not one of these, and you're not constantly hauling things, buying a truck would be a very silly thing to do. I challenge you to prove that there are enough wow players who also would have a use for a truck to make this commercial a worthy investment for toyota.

Where does use for the truck have any kind of say in its marketing ploy? I live in Florida, it is completely flat, no hills, no mountains, nothing just completely Horizontal. Is there a need for 4 wheel drive power? No, but a bunch of fucking people still buy the trucks with it. What the fuck would a 17 year old girl want with an expedition? Its in style, people like it. Is she going to drive her kids to soccer practice? Hardly. With your reasoning everyone who isn't in construction should just go out and buy a VW. Welcome to the real world, People like things because they like them. Not because they want to to 100% of its use.

How? I acknowledged the fact that there are exceptions and details. He didn't, and he didn't even correctly interpret my original statement.

Please show me where you acknowledged the exceptions. All you said was that people buy trucks for their professions. You didn't mention anything about personal use.
