You're absolutely correct in the assumption that it hasn't been enforced. We went through a serious downtime before TF2. Empty servers all day long. No regulars, the community was dying. We did everything we could to attract anyone. ANYONE. We scrapped rules. I invested an assload of money into trying to keep this place alive. Now that things are really heating up again I think we can go back to trying and separate ourselves from the shitty servers out there who let shit run wild. I promise I will finalize the new guidelines soon and ensure that both players and our admins are aware of the changes.

I don't know about truechristian.com, but Landover Baptist is a parody site, and a funny one, too. I'm an atheist, but I can tell you with a fair amount of certainty that racism isn't a major tenet of any major Christian denomination. Anti-gay sentiment, on the other hand, is pretty well entrenched in some. Still, if you're basing your opinions on two websites, one of which is a parody and the other of which might as well be, for all the sanity it displays, you may want to find out a little more about the folks you're pigeonholing. The vast majority of people I know who identify as Christian are neither racist nor homophobic. One of the earlier posts said something to the effect that if people logged in and heard "nigger faggot nigger" over and over, a lot of them would leave and not come back. Good fucking riddance. I've opted out of more servers in TF2, HL2DM, and CS than I can easily put a number to because of jackasses who love the sound of their own ignorant fuckwit voices and think that just because their skin is white they belong to some special club. I value a server for the quality of its players, which is why I play on WDF servers in the first place. So I'd be in the camp that would prefer the splash page to say "No racist/homophobic/religious comments and don't be a dick" or words to that effect, and then trust the admins to apply common sense in their enforcement. Just my two cents.

Re-reading my post above, I'm not sure where I edited something wrong, but the line, "Good Fucking Riddance" doesn't apply to the people it seems to apply to. In fact, just leave that line out completely and I think the point is what I intended (and I hope what people took from it). Anyway, carry on.
