Meh.

Diablo II was the only Blizzard game that I actually played more then once. (Never played WoW and never will.)

Diablo 3 would have been a much, much more epic move then more World of WarCrap even nerds don't care about.

wow someone is quite hostile for not even having tried the other games, too much thinking involved?

Played Warcrafts 2 and 3, and to be honest they were not that bad. They didn't hold my interest beyond a week and of half-asleep grinding.

Oh, and apparently WoW takes your soul away during the night.

oh crap, is that where it went?

anyway, dont rain on our parade,  Blizzard games makes me happy in the pants

Formally known as MrT
The film "Brokeback Mountain" was originally pitched as an off-beat romance starring MrT and WhutDuFuk. The sole reason the two legends declined the starring roles is because if MrT and WhutDuFuk were to kiss, there would be new meaning to the word homosexual...it would mean "obligation".

Way to cause a massive guessing game on the internet Blizzard.
They even tried to fool us by putting the link up on the World of Warcraft site.

Needless to say I will be leading the herd to get this game.

GO TO GAMESPOT AND WATCH THE 20 MINUTE VIDEO.
Every second there was something that made me say, "Oh wow!"

im definitely liking what i see

You realize that all those images add is a darker palette.
If you actually listened to the blizzard representatives, they specifically said that they wanted a larger color palette.  Why make the same old grimy, gothic game?
I, for one, enjoy the fact that they are putting their new engine and shader to use instead of just going with one shade the entire game.

Diablo 3 needs a grittier more gothic feel to it, the base graphics themselves are fine, but they just need to adjust the brightness and contrast just a bit.  Frankly the top right image looks PERFECT to me and is exactly what I want from a Diablo game.  I want to play in a foreboding atmosphere not toon town.  Let's compare actual (correct) Diablo 3 concept art to what the actual game looks like.

Once again Spaniard, I don't even think you read my post.
They said they want to use horror as a tone and not a color scheme.
It will make for an overall better game.

People don't want the same dull colors anymore.  You seem to be the only person that doesn't want a vibrant landscape.

How do you grind in an RTS?

I'm laughing like a mother fucker at you right now, seriously, after posts you've made in this thread you accuse me of not reading..  Oh well, didn't expect to put much stock into the guy who put us all in our places and put the rumors to rest just a couple of days ago.  Oh yeah you nailed it good, what the hell were we thinking.

The rest of your post doesn't make much sense either.  Besides I know what Blizzard said, and it's contradictory to their own concept art.  I know this is all "under development" but the whole world seems brighter and less detailed in the vein of WoW, and contrary to what you say a large part of the fan base (I could say majority but I'm going to be conservative here) prefers just a little darker and a little grittier.  The graphics are fine, they just have to adjust the levels a bit.

Just look at this right here;

Do you see how much more detail pops out with a simple change in contrast and brightness?

They cut a lot of corners for the gameplay video. And I mean a lot. The graphics and physics engine is nowhere near complete, and they will have months to adjust textures. They showed us one dungeon and one outside area. Now compare that to the map of santcuary and add all of the locations we never played in in the first two games. I really fucking doubt that the day after launch people will be complaining en masse about an environment too colourful or reminiscent of WoW.
