I wonder how it affects sentries. If it doesn't slow them down somehow then I'd hope it does 100% damage still, else that'd be a pretty big versus-sentry nerf.

That's an interesting weapon...though I don't think it will be that good by itself outside of intel maps. Now if a Sasha-Heavy, and a Natascha heavy team up together...it could be very bad for people.
I was afraid that they would give the heavy a minigun with pushback, like a sentry,...now that would be a beast that Im truly afraid of. Quote:

Maybe the shotgun replacement will be some kind of explosive-shell deal. Slow fire but has a blast radius (less damage than rockets, though) and a push-back effect. That'd actually be interesting, from a strategy standpoint. Good weapon to protect your medic with. Assuming it's not a sammich.

That slow effect sounds nice..but how much does it slow? Does the slow only count for movement speed or does effect attack speed as well? -25% damage is big for a heavy.

Loosing 25 damage makes it bad I think I will still run with the original gun I want the damage slowing people doesnt' help much.

But it will be really fucking annoying....I can't wait until I keep getting sniped on 2Fort...because some god damn heavy is pray spraying everywhere and making us sniper foder because we are turtle speed. Quote:

Be that as it may, seems like a waste of a heavy and if the opposing team has a decent sniper, that heavy is going down.

Hopefully, the slowing effect will hit uber'd opponents. A heavy with this firing from a fortified position at a pushing uber will cause a lot of rage very fast.
Which is encouraged. Safety + Peace

Both Bendy and Erebus didn't like it. You shouldn't too! listen to the better heavy in the group :P
Seriously though... it all depends on how much it slows down. If it's not alot then I would agree with Bendy and have the old gun with the full damage

it just seems pretty useless imo, 25% dmg penalty? just to slow down the advance of players? only good against pyros and scouts, even then they pretty much drop before they get too close. may be good for sudden death In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.
