Very common when the writer cant figure out what to put. If anything.. No originality. This movie sucked. And I would suggest none of you see it. You don't even find out what a "Clover Field" is, and that is the only reason I went..

No Country- I thought was an awesome movie. But just like you said. I do prefer the classical wrap up on a movie. I have real life to make me really think...... and Cinema and TV for the last decade or so has not even come close. I just want a nice hour or 2 of entertainment. Cloverfield barely did that for me thats all. Cloverfield was not terrible. I did give it a passing grade but I wish the movie was more than it was. With No Country, it did make you think a heck of alot more. Sugere probably did kill the wife just as he probably killed the gas attendant. I was upset that they killed the husband so suddenly. I liked that character and it looked like Tommy Lee Jones character had given up looking for Sugere with his speech at the end and then it ended, No WRAP UP, WTH!!!
But on a more serious note for those who haven't seen No country for Old Men...go see it..very solid movie. It will some awards this year I think.

Wow I would hate to see it after reading your post.. explaining the plot and ending kinda defeats the purpose of recommending a movie.

I do not understand why people do this all the time. The movie is always like cliff notes. You can watch it and then write your little bitch homework assignment off of it.

Congratulations on knowing it was based on a book? If you'll carefully read the post I quoted you'll notice that he explained the ending. What the fuck is your argument about? Reading a book before seeing the movie? Who is "a lot of people"? Nobody fucking does that. Jesus fucking christ, if you're so hell-bent on attacking me at least try to make some logical sense, you cockbite.

I agree that the movie had an un-fulfilling ending. I mean the ending should have been in the movie, it just shouldn't have been the ending. I would have been 100% more satisfied and fulfilled if after all the credits there were a few minutes of aftermath footage from like the news and such. Though I think it ended the way it did for a sequel which they already hinted at, which would show what was on OTHER peoples cameras. The monster was fucking fantastic btw an the little monsters were cool but also funny because they sounded like Donald Duck. Overall the movie was greater than the sum of its parts. It could have been better, but it was good for what it was and had some truly spectacular moments. SPOILER
After all of the credits there are three words spoken on a garbled radio transmission that can hardly be made out. It says, "It's still alive.." SPOILER
