It's funny, I've been in this community for almost a year now, and this topic has come up 3 times. You should go to some other servers to see what real team stacking is (i.e. admin assisted clan stacking). Oh, and if you're team is getting rolled, say if you're on a team with me on it(where losing is commonplace), it's probably because there's no communication or trust. People probably are tired of me talking on the mic, but most of what I say is stuff like, "Demo in the cap room" or "Medic with ubercharge in the sugarshack". This is the kind of thing a team needs, along with a medic that heals someone who's hurt instead of just sticking to a single heavy, and this means sometimes you have to trust strangers. That is how you end up making friends. *i.e*. we have lots of servers i just go play on the ones without the usual crowd. no sense sweating stuff you cant do anything about.

Man... late last night when the Tempests were empty, I went onto an eGo 24x7 Dustbowl server. Now talk about team stacking - as the map reset, all the "good" players went onto red. You could tell they all wanted the same team, because there was like 10 seconds of blue being available, and as soon as some noob went to blue, the red slot would fill up in 1/10th of a second.
To check it out I went onto blue, and naturally red STEAMROLLED blue. I'm talking that when the round ended (not even the first point captured) the highest score on the entire blue team was **4** while red had 8 players with above 20 kills. Now I know why I stopped playing there.
I think it's a good idea to double-check that when we join a team to play with our friends, we don't knowingly or even unknowlingly create a similar situation. That's one good thing about having a LOT of regulars - if we divide ourselves up well, then we'll always be able to play with a half dozen excellent players, no matter which team we're on.

That random sampling pic you posted with those particular teams isn't that bad; I recognize a lot of names from both sides and the score isn't that skewed. The people I don't like are snipers(endyss comes to mind) and demos(daniel you are my personal nemsis btw) when they are on the other team. I just wish it would show the top 3 people from each team at the end, i hate losing a round but having 2x the score of their top mvp! TLDR; Talk more and i'll be more inclined to play more on your team or heal me!

So... what's the verdict?
Allow community stacking? If so, when is it consider community stacking? When a team has 3 more than the other team? When do we scramble teams? During set up, after the round, etc.?

I'll tell you right now... if the entire game was "scrambled" and the teams forcefully changed... I'd quit. Autobalance is annoying enough.

Usually our community evens it out though... If 5 pDs guys are on a team and 5 hax guys are on a team, I don't think of it as stacking... just because their names are different. The "stacking" issue doesn't seem to last too long.
